Announcement regarding the stake sale being finalized
We refer to the disclosure made to our Bank by Doğuş Holding A.Ş. and Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaira, S.A. (BBVA).
We have been informed that on March 22, 2011, the acquisition of T. Garanti Bankası A.S. shares owned by Doğuş Holding A.Ş. representing 6.2902% of the share capital of the Bank and T. Garanti Bankası A.Ş.shares owned by General Electric Capital Corporation representing 18.60% of the share capital of the Bank, by Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. (BBVA) has been finalized after obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.
